Jim & Elizabeth Hilgendorf are The Matchmakers, a real estate company located in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in luxury residential properties in California, France, Italy, and Mexico.
Jim and Elizabeth have lived in California 33 of the last 39 years, both in the Los Angeles area and San Francisco Bay Area. They have traveled extensively, and built relationships with excellent agents in a few of their favorite areas abroad to help their clients with finding and buying homes there. These areas include Tuscany & Umbria in Italy; the Bordeaux, Bergerac, and Dordogne Valley areas in France, and several areas in Mexico.
The Matchmakers is part of a unique referral network of excellent individual agents throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico, so that Jim and Elizabeth can assist clients not only with their own expertise, but also with help from trusted agents in other areas.
Jim is also a film producer, whose travel films are in homes, schools, and libraries all across the United States, several of which have appeared on PBS and international television. One of his films is on the Bordeaux region and the beautiful Dordogne Valley of southwest France. Others are on Tuscany & Umbria, Mexico, and California.
