Tilden Regional Park, in the hills north of Berkeley, California, is a 2000 acre playground for the people of the San Francisco Bay Area.
The park is great for hiking and bicycling and exploring nature trails. The park also includes lakes, a ten acre Botanic Garden, golf course, and model farm, which children love.
The Redwood Valley Railway operates a scaled-down steam train, which children also love to ride through the park.
